FOCUS

Agent2 · 6.4 → 7.0.27

01 / THE OVERVIEW

Every host. Part of the picture.

A monitoring estate needs maintenance, too. I upgraded Zabbix Agent2 from version 6.4 to 7.0.27 across 88 Linux virtual machines.

An enterprise Linux VM estate required a monitoring-agent version upgrade as part of ongoing infrastructure operations.

02 / MY CONTRIBUTION

The work behind it.

  1. 01

Performed the Zabbix Agent2 version upgrade across the 88-VM scope.

  2. 02

Worked within the Linux infrastructure and monitoring environment.

  3. 03

Supported ongoing administration of the monitoring estate.

03 / THE APPROACH

Connecting the pieces.

01Linux VM estate
02Agent2 upgrade
03Zabbix monitoring

Monitoring is an operational dependency. Agent maintenance deserves the same care and clarity as the workloads being monitored.

04 / RESULT & SCOPE

What this demonstrates.

Upgraded Zabbix Agent2 from version 6.4 to 7.0.27 across a scope of 88 Linux virtual machines, demonstrating hands-on monitoring-agent maintenance across an enterprise VM estate.
